'Off the beaten track' Scuba Safaris

Our mission is to go beyond Puerto Galera and Sabang and exploring diverse marine ecosystems, island archipelagos and secluded beaches along the Verde Island Passage.

Guided by passionate naturalists, our small-group scuba safaris offer enriching, eco-friendly adventures, and 100% of proceeds go directly to support marine conservation through Blue Alliance Philippines.

The Experience

Setting off from Puerto Galera in Oriental Mindoro, Philippines, we often head east to explore the islands of Calapan—our favourite destination for remote reef diving. Other days take us across to Verde Island, which, despite its reputation, sees fewer divers than expected. These waters also host our Reef Support Crew experiences where our guests help collect vital data for marine conservation.

Islands of Calapan

The enchanting islands of Calapan—home to the scenic Tatlong Pulo Archipelago, Harka Piloto, and Anaganahao Island—Set within the heart of the Verde Island Passage—Boast breathtaking underwater landscapes shaped by vast boulder corals, sweeping sea fans, and intricate walls. Still largely undiscovered, they offer a sense of exclusivity and calm, making them a haven for divers looking to escape the crowds and explore something new.

Verde Island

Rising from the centre of the Verde Island Passage, Verde Island is renowned for its dramatic underwater topography and extraordinary biodiversity. Towering coral-covered walls, swift currents, and dense fish life define its reefscapes, offering thrilling conditions for experienced divers. Though well-known, it’s dived less often than expected and delivers high-reward diving without the crowds.

Our Approach

Led by experienced wildlife guides and dive professionals, our safaris go beyond sightseeing to foster a deeper understanding of marine life and the role of Marine Protected Areas.

With small group sizes (max 3 divers / guide), we ensure low-impact diving and create space for meaningful, close-up encounters that large groups simply can’t offer.

All Proceeds Invested Into Conservation

Reef Support Crew

Reef Support Crew invites recreational divers to become part of the research team—contributing directly to marine science while exploring some of the Philippines’ richest reef systems.

Designed for those who want their dives to have real impact, the program turns each underwater experience into a meaningful data-gathering mission.

In Shark Quest, divers help deploy cameras to capture footage of sharks and rare marine life across seldom-visited reefs. In FinVentory, participants record sightings of key fish to support reef health assessments and sustainable fisheries.

Together, these projects feed into long-term conservation efforts led by Blue Alliance Philippines, helping to protect critical habitats in the Verde Island Passage.
